Travel is the richest reward one can ever give to oneself. It is an opportunity that my parents availed to themselves when I was young and since then my mother has been bitten by the bug and has traveled herself quite extensively. Only later in life did I myself come to realise how rich and rewarding the experience can be. I treasure every experience I have had. As with all trips there are the ups and downs that come from pushing your own comfort zone and particularly when you travel with others as I have done. It is only through traveling do we realise how fortunate we are and how much we do not understand or realise. This web site was established as a means of both recording some of my travel experiences and sharing those experiences with others. The level of detail will vary as a consequence of me now writing down these details so long after the original event. This is a purely personal project and should someone else gain from my ramblings then that is great ... I will have achieved more than I had intended. I have not traveled extensively and generally have not followed wild dreams of trekking across the Himalayas or living amongst the tribes of Southern America. My holidays have been more conventional but I believe interesting. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer... These pages will be evolved over time as this is a new personal project (just one of many but what the heck!). Trips that I have taken since my early days include: 1976 - New Zealand as a carefree student on holidays seeing the world for the first time 1986 - Singapore 1989 - Vanuatu 1994 - Britain, Scotland, Europe, Norway and Hong Kong 1999 - France, England and Ireland - Hong Kong - Norfolk Island 2000 - Argentina
